The View at Creekside offers a private indoor event space for up to 50 guests, with views toward Oak Creek and Sedona’s red rocks. It belongs on the shortlist for couples who want a scenic wedding dinner with the comfort of an indoor room.

Specify The View when you inquire. A reservation at Creekside and a private event in The View are different arrangements. Ask how the room will be set for your actual headcount and where cake, speeches, and any film or photo coverage would fit.

The public events page does not state a room capacity, so describe your guest count and ask whether the proposal is for the private room, patio, or a semi-private area. Those choices can change both the feel and the price of your dinner.

Stagecoach Smokehouse & BBQ

Stagecoach offers private events, indoor and outdoor options, and complete buyouts, including wedding receptions. Its barbecue focus makes it worth exploring for a relaxed celebration where a formal plated dinner is not the priority.

Ask the events team which area they can reserve exclusively for your party and whether a smaller group needs a buyout to have the privacy you want. If music or dancing is part of the plan, include that in the first inquiry so the layout and event hours can be addressed together.

The indoor number matters when planning a weather backup. Do not assume an outdoor seating plan can move inside unchanged. Ask for a layout that includes dinner, any dance space, and your vendors, along with the package inclusions and rental hours.

Ask which room can be made private for your headcount; the restaurant’s total capacity does not tell you how an intimate dinner will feel.

This location can make sense when your guests are staying in the Village. Include the actual ceremony and lodging addresses when considering transportation.

Sedona resorts with private dining and small-event options

Amara Resort & Spa / SaltRock Southwest Kitchen

Amara offers private dining with SaltRock’s cuisine, including wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, and brunches. Its events page lists dinners up to 85 guests, but couples planning a micro wedding should request the space and layout intended for their smaller party.

Ask whether your quote includes an indoor room, an outdoor setting, or another reserved area, plus the rain plan and any room-block requirements. The dedicated sales contact is more useful for that conversation than a regular restaurant reservation.

It is an adults-only property: the 18-and-over policy applies to the restaurant as well as the hotel. That makes it a possibility for an adults-only celebration, but it will not fit a guest list that includes children.

Ask for the private-dining configuration, capacity, and event minimum for your group. A normal dinner reservation does not secure a private wedding reception.

Where can we have a private dinner after eloping in Sedona?

Start with a room sized to your group. Rascal’s smaller room is a useful first inquiry for up to 20; its larger room and The View at Creekside give you options for a larger micro wedding. Broome & Orchard and The Cabin are also worth comparing. Confirm that your booking includes exclusive use of the quoted space, rather than a large table during regular service.

What works for 10, 20, 30, or 50 guests?

For 10–20, ask about Rascal’s smaller room and the smallest private configurations at Broome & Orchard or a resort. For around 30–40, consider Rascal’s larger room, The View, or The Cabin, and compare resort layouts. For 50, The View’s published maximum is a starting point; The Cabin’s total includes outdoor seating, so weather matters. Always include the couple, children, and any vendor seating when discussing the layout.

How much does a private wedding dinner in Sedona cost?

There is no single reliable per-person price across these venues. Compare the total quote: food, drinks, room rental, minimum spend, tax, service charges, gratuity policy, rentals, and any cake or staffing fees. A small guest count can still carry a substantial minimum.

For example, a hypothetical $2,500 food-and-beverage minimum divided among 20 guests is $125 per guest before extra fees. That is a budgeting example, not a quote from a Sedona venue. Ask what spending counts toward the minimum and whether lunch, brunch, or a different date changes it.

Is a restaurant reception cheaper than a wedding venue?

It can be, especially if tables, chairs, service staff, and dinnerware are included. But a restaurant buyout or high minimum can cost more than another event space. Compare proposals for the same hours, guest count, food, drinks, and level of privacy. Ask what you would still need to rent or hire separately.

Can we bring a wedding cake or our own alcohol?

Get written approval from the specific venue. Golden Goose, for example, allows a cake from a commercial bakery and publishes a cake-plating fee. Yes, provided the restaurant or resort accepts a dinner-only event and your ceremony arrangements are handled separately.
